Order past and current issues of the Breakdown's yearbooks to Minnesota high school sports!

Our annual preview books are generally 200+, full-color pages of pure Minnesota high school sports. Beginning in 2019, we also started offering a hardcover option in addition to our usual softcover edition of the books. We offer the following seven sports:

  • Boys' basketball (since 2002)
  • Girls' basketball (since 2002)
  • Boys' hockey (since 2008)
  • Girls' hockey (since 2018)
  • Girls' volleyball (since 2008)
  • Baseball (since 2014)
  • Softball (since 2018)
  • Football (from 2006-08)

In each of our books, we preview every high school program in the state, from Kittson County Central to La Crescent, Cook County to Luverne and all schools in between.

Our books typically include:

  • Player profiles on the Super 100 seniors, Top 75 juniors, Elite 35 underclassmen, along with additional profiles and Q and A with HUNDREDS of the state's best players.
  • Preseason rankings on the Fab 15 in all classes.
  • Preseason All-State teams in all classes.
  • Extensive section previews on all sections.
  • Team capsules on EVERY program in the state with scouting reports on "who to watch."
  • Four-page feature stories on three or four select programs from around the state.
  • Hundreds of photos of players and coaches.
  • Skills Q and A with top players from across the state.

NOTE! We're offering our books in digital format

Again this year, the Breakdown is offering our books in a digital format! For less than the price of the softcover book ($59.99) or as an add-on to a regular book purchase ($19.99), you can receive a bookmarked, linked PDF almost a full month before the hard copies are available (for new books)!

The digital versions has all the same great information as the hard copies, but in a smaller package and available earlier.

Note: there are protections on the digital PDF to prevent editing or printing the file.
